Companion cards, do you have one? They're great!

Updated: Mar 24

In a society where we want to address inclusivity, it's imperative to ensure that every individual, regardless of ability, has the opportunity to fully participate in social activities and experiences. In Western Australia, one of the great schemes facilitating inclusivity is the Companion Card program.

The concept is elegantly simple yet profoundly impactful. Individuals who holds a Companion Card are entitled to a complimentary ticket or admission for their companion at participating venues and events. This means that they can enjoy outings, concerts, sporting events, and cultural experiences with the support they need, without incurring additional costs for their companion. Yep, this can sometimes mean one parent can use the companion card for entry!
