We are proud to have grown into so much more than just a vision, and we’ve never quite fit into the box of being an agency.

We’re something in between — and beyond.

We’re a team that leads with heart. Nurses, support workers, and allied health professionals all working together to bring care that feels human, connected and real — the kind of care that doesn’t just respond to need, but walks alongside you in everyday life; a healthy support system.

Our focus has always been on people — on preventing decline, supporting growth and independence, and building genuine connections in the community.

We’ve taken the clinical edge out of community care, and replaced it with something more personal, more grounded, and more you.

Our favourite reminder through it all?

We are stronger together.

We truly believe it, and see it in our community growth.

But where does ‘Kalkoup’ come from?

A little story about our name…

Kalkoup holds deep meaning for us.

It’s the name of the wheat farm once owned by the parents of our founding director, Siobhan — a place filled with values of hard work, family, resilience and heart.

The kind of place where you knew your neighbours, looked out for one another, and found strength in community.

That’s the spirit we bring into our work every single day.
